Blogs are only effective if:  

1) Copy is well-written

The content is engaging, the headline is attention-grabbing, and above all, the body copy is precise & well-written.

2) Content is original and informative. 

Gone are the days when it was okay just to jam-pack posts with keywords and phrases. 

People want real, well-researched content, not just a bunch of counted keywords!  Yes, SEO is important, but it must be used creatively, intelligently, and the words and phrases must be woven seamlessly into the article or no one will read it... and Google won't index it, so it's a waste of money and time. 

3) Content is current 


(Tip: if you wrote an article last year and mentioned the "C" word (Covid) or the "P" word (Pandemic), odds are your content is not indexed, and even if it is, it's probably no longer relevant. I suggest to my clients that blog posts from 2020 and 2021 should be updated, rewritten, or tossed! (sorry!) It's old news. 

4) Blog post is pleasing to the eye

Rich with photos, videos, and other imagery - not screen shots! Images must be optimized for SEO too!

5) Viewed by your target audience

Even if you hire a Pulitzer Prize recipient to write your posts; if no one sees it, no one will read it. And if no on reads it, no one will be directed to your website! That's what it's al about. So, posts needs to be shared on social media, email, and other marketing channels.
